More American Apparel
Los Angeles-based T-shirt and underwear maker American Apparel is continuing its retail expansion. The company opened a new store on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood on Aug. 2, a shop in Portland, Ore., on Aug. 10, and a store in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn on Aug. 13. American Apparel also plans to open a shop on Carnaby Street in London on Aug. 21.
In July, the company opened stores in New York’s SoHo neighborhood and in Toronto. —A.A.
