Find to Feature Art, Music and Fashion
Michelle Mason, Anja Flint and Coryn Madley are among the designers participating in Find, the pop-culture event featuring music, art and fashion that will be held on Aug. 21 at the Avalon nightclub in Los Angeles.
The event is geared toward fashionistas, artisans and other key influencers of popular culture, said co-producer Sue Park, who is putting the event together with Diana Tam and Laura Hsia. The event will offer limited- edition fashion and art pieces, Park said.
Find will feature musical entertainment, fashion and art exhibitions from Mason, Madley, Flint, Mon Petit Oiseau, Oliver Peoples, Desanka, Aaron Martinez, Matt Groller, Kathy Garcia, Megan Lindeman and Rohner Segnitz. “We selected designers and artists that are under the radar but are well known in specialty stores on both coasts,” Park explained.
Sponsors include American Apparel Inc., SOMA magazine, Flaunt magazine, Bristol Farms, Stones Throw Records, Matador Records and Hollywood Shoes. Organizers will donate proceeds from the event to the Step Up Women’s Network, a nonprofit group committed to providing resources to women and girls.
