PJs Day and Lilly Week
April 16 is National “Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day,” according to Shelburne, Vt.–based sleepwear maker and retailer PajamaGram Co., which created the PJ day to encourage people to lounge a bit as a respite from a stressful world. No telling whether “Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day” will conflict with “Lilly Week,” which kicked off on April 15. “Lilly Week 2004” was created by New York–based designer Lilly Pulitzer to promote the launch of her book, “Essentially Lilly,” a guide to entertaining, decorating and gardening.
