D.P. Textile Relocates to Union Bank Building
D.P. Textile and Apparel Inc. has relocated to a larger facility in the Los Angeles Fashion District. The company has moved from the California Market Center to the Union Bank building at 900 S. Main St., which is in the CMC courtyard.
D.P.’s textile division provides silks to companies including Richard Tyler and St. John Knits, said Chief Executive Officer David Park. Its apparel division, run by Don Park, operates a number of labels, including its flagship contemporary cashmere line, Raw 7.
The company increased its space from 3,000 square feet to 13,000 square feet. Park said the space became available when the bank downsized, vacating the second floor of the building. The move also allowed the company to take some building signage, giving it visibility along Ninth and Main streets. —R.M.
