Etnies' Mission
Lake Forest–based shoemaker Etnies will donate more than 2,000 pairs of new shoes to the Los Angeles Mission. The shoes will be given to adults and children on April 9 as part of the Mission’s Good Friday program, which also includes free meals, an Easter gift bag and podiatry care (in reference to the Biblical story in which Jesus washes his disciples’ feet prior to the Last Supper). The downtown block surrounding the mission will be blocked off to cars during the event, which will be hosted by Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr.
