MAGIC Moves
Woodland Hills–based MAGIC International will house all of its categories under one roof at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Beginning in August, MAGIC will move its WWDMAGIC women’s and juniors section from the Sands Expo & Convention Center to the LVCC, where the trade show’s menswear categories—including Streetwear, Boardsports and The Edge—are already based. MAGIC’s childrenswear show, MAGIC Kids; its global sourcing show, The Sourcing Zone; and its fabric show, Fabric@ MAGIC, are also based at the LVCC. Show producers cited a dropoff in traffic after Sept. 11 as the reason for the move.
