Fashion Industries Guild Sets Gala Plans
The Fashion Industries Guild of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center will honor the owners of Strategic Partners/Cherokee Uniforms at its 47th annual charity dinner dance on Oct. 4 at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
For years, the uniform company’s owners— Michael Singer, Scott Sigman, Robert Pierpont and Susan Nunez—have felt it was important to give back to the community. In addition to supporting the children’s programs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, they have supported the Los Angeles Children’s Museum and the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
Strategic Partners/Cherokee Uniforms was founded in 1995 through a management buyout of the uniform division of Cherokee Inc. The company produces medical uniforms and footwear, as well as school uniforms.
Proceeds from the guild’s dinner will benefit the child neurology and neurodevelopment programs in the Ruth Bregman Children’s Health Clinic at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The Fashion Industries Guild of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is an association of apparel industry professionals that raises money for special programs at the center. Since 1956, the group has raised $18 million for the hospital.
Tickets are $350 for individuals and $3,000 for a table of 10. For tickets, call Shonya Stein at (310) 423-7466. —Deborah Belgum
