Gaylord Named President of CFCC
Fred Gaylord, senior vice president for Capital Factors, has been named president of the Commercial Finance Conference of California, effective January 2004.
The CFCC is a trade group for commercial finance companies, factors and banks operating in the assetbased financial services industry, and is the Southern California chapter of the Commercial Finance Association.
Gaylord will serve a two-year term. He has been a vice president and director of the CFCC for the past five years.
“I am looking forward to promoting the commercial finance industry in Southern California and working with an outstanding board of directors,” Gaylord said.
One of the biggest issues facing the industry is consolidation, Gaylord said, which will result in increased competition.
