More Apparel Shops for El Paseo in Palm Desert
Ritzy El Paseo Drive in Palm Desert, Calif., is set to unveil its latest shopping venue, El Paseo Square, which will open next month with several apparel shops.
Bellissimo women’s boutique will be part of the first phase, and Four Seasons Swimwear has signed a lease for the second phase, which should be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2004, according to leasing agent Maggie Montez of CB Richard Ellis real estate in Indian Wells, Calif. Both stores are relocating from other locations on El Paseo Drive. A number of other apparel boutiques are expected to join the 70,000- square-foot center as more space becomes available, said Montez.
The first phase encompasses about 12,000 square feet, and the second phase comprises 9,300 square feet. Additional phases will comprise about 50,000 square feet. Other tenants signing leases include home furnishings retailer Table Top Elegance, Kidz Enterprises Inc., Sun Optics and Ft. Knoxx Jewelry.
The center is located at El Paseo Drive and San Pablo Avenue. It is owned by El Paseo LLC and Klaff Realty LP.
El Paseo Square is one of several recent construction projects on El Paseo Drive. Tiffany & Co. is wrapping up construction on a new store at the nearby Gardens center. —R.M.
