Lectra Division Earns Honor
Paris-based Lectra has presented its Chairman’s Cup award to its North American branch in recognition of the division’s business performance in 2002.
Lectra reported an operating profit of 7.2 million euros last year. Sales were driven by growth of 14 percent and gains in market share within North America, according to the company. Lectra North America, which operates out of the Atlanta area, represents 25 percent of the group’s total revenues.
Lectra North America President David Siegelman accepted the award at a company meeting in Bordeaux, France, with more than 500 Lectra employees from around the world in attendance. —Robert McAllister
