A/R Management Aligns With Polaris
La Verne, Calif.-based accounts-receivables specialist A/R Management Services (ARMS) and Claremont, Calif.-based EDI/ASN firm Polaris Imports Consulting Group have aligned to provide accounting services for the apparel industry.
ARMS, headed by Robert Prather, is a 12-year-old outsourcing company that represents manufacturers in collecting chargebacks and other accounts receivables. Polaris, headed by former Rampage executive Dharini Zaveri, helps businesses prevent charge-back and advance-shipping order issues, as well as other accounting problems. Through the alliance, the two companies will help settle accounting issues for each other’s customers.
“Through this association, we’ll be able to not only recover existing charge-backs but provide the means to identify and fix any issues that are creating the deductions, reducing future dilution and increasing profits for our clients,” said Prather. “EDI/ASN issues are now one of the biggest drains on profitability a manufacturer must face, and Dharini is the best in the business to fix that.”
