New Generation Updates Supply-Chain Software
New Generation Computing Inc., based in Miami Lakes, Fla., rolled out its latest version of e-SPS, a Web-based sourcing software for retailers and manufacturers who manage global production processes remotely.
The updated e-SPS features enhanced user functions and reporting capabilities. Its 11 software modules cover product development, tracking information, requests for quotes and bids, and other functions.
“Sourcing executives are cutting back their travel to Asia and other regions where their own production facilities or vendors are located,” said Alan Brooks, president of New Generation.
Among the company’s e-SPS users are Wilsons Leather, Polo Ralph Lauren Corp.’s childrenswear division and Kellwood Co. —Robert McAllister
