FGI's Vintage Experts
Author Gloria Lintermans, Decades Boutique owner Cameron Silver, Distinction magazine Editor-in-Chief Laurie Pike and stylist Vincent Boucher discussed the current popularity of vintage clothing among celebrities and the general fashion crowd at a panel discussion hosted by Fashion Group International (FGI) of Los Angeles.
Lintermans, author of “Retro Chic: A Guide to Fabulous Vintage and Designer Resale Shopping in North America and Online,” served as moderator for the event, held at the Decades store in Los Angeles. The store remained open after the event to allow people to browse the vintage offerings and purchase Lintermans’ book.
FGI has more events planned for the summer. On July 31, FGI will host a panel on the challenges and opportunities of apparel retailing, which will be moderated by Fashion Business Inc.’s Frances Harder.
