Media City Center Buy
Irvine-based developer Crown Realty & Development is in negotiations to purchase the Burbank Media City Center mall from San Diego-based Pan Pacific Retail Properties in a reported deal for $110 million. Pan Pacific picked up the 1.2-million-squarefoot property in November when it acquired competitor Center Trust. The Media City Center opened in 1990 and features a mix of indoor stores including Macy’s, Sears and Mervyn’s, surrounded by freestanding retailers including IKEA, Circuit City and Virgin Megastore.
