North Face N.Y.
San Leandro-based outdoor manufacturer the North Face is heading to New York City. The company announced plans to open a store on the city’s Upper West Side. The two-story boutique, in the historic early-20th century Ansonia Building on Broadway, will feature 8,000 square feet of sales space and a grand staircase connecting the two levels. Michigan-based architecture firm JGA has designed the store, which is the seventh for the North Face.
