Did You Get a Bike for Christmas?
The term “Christmas bonus” took on new meaning for employees of Newport Beach, Calif.-based Paul Frank Industries. The sportswear, accessories, furniture—and now bicycle—manufacturer gave each of its 75 employees a brand-new Paul Frank bicycle as a Christmas bonus this year. But that wasn’t all. In typical quirky Paul Frank fashion, the owners presented the employees with their new bikes and then took them all on a two-mile morning bike ride to a celebratory company breakfast. —Joselle Yokogawa
