FIDM Lights Up L.A.
The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) is dressing up downtown in lights for the holidays. FIDM decorated its downtown building with white lights and erected a 25-foot Holiday evergreen on the lawn of its downtown campus, located on the perimeter of Grand Hope Park in the 900 block of Hope Street, between 9th Street and Olympic Boulevard. Every night, at 4:30, the tree and building are lit to celebrate the holiday season. Following Jan. 1, 2004, the lights will continue to be a fixture on the building all year long. —Claudia Figueroa
