Safer Acquires Hampton Printing Co.
Newark, N.J.–based Safer Textiles has acquired the assets of Johnson City, Tenn.–based Hampton Transfer Prints Inc. from Flynt Fabrics Inc., which filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.
The companies did not disclose the terms of the transaction.
Hampton provides heat-sublimation printing for the apparel and home furnishings industries.
The company will remain at its current location and will operate under President Tammy Ross. Safer has renamed the unit Hampton Paper & Transfer Printing Inc. The deal will allow Safer to add to its range of products and services in the South. The company provides knitting, dyeing, finishing and printing services using wet, pigment, paper and heat-transfer processes.
