New at Tarrant
Los Angeles–based private-label manufacturer Tarrant Apparel Group has added Stephane Farouze and Larry C. Russ to its board of directors. Farouze, a graduate of San Diego State University, was most recently the global head of sales structuring and alternative investments for Paris-based Societe Generale Asset Management. Prior to that, he served BNP Paribas as head of foreign exchanges for the Italian market and global head of oil derivatives for Paris. He has held similar positions with Commerz Financial Products, Smith Barney and PaineWebber. Russ is a trial attorney and managing partner of the Los Angeles–based law firm of Russ, August & Kabat, which represents several apparel companies. He specializes in intellectual property matters, including trademark, copyright and patent prosecution and litigation. He holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of California, Hastings.
