Magic Seminars Cover Supply-Chain Management, Ethnic Marketing
A group of Los Angeles-based apparel and technology resources will host two seminars during MAGIC International covering marketing and supply chain management.
Representatives of the United States Commerce Department, Fashion Business Inc., the Mexican National Trade Office, Lorber Industies, Tukatech Inc. and Freudenberg West will address “Global Networking, Competition and Opportunities” at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in room 102 of the Sands Expo & Convention Center.
The panelists will discuss how to improve supply-chain management domestically and globally as well as address the impact and challenges of quota-free trade zones, which will go into effect in 2005.
Cherish International, Manny Bay and Design Options, Inc. will present a seminar on “Merchandising and Marketing for Asian American Consumers” at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in room N243 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event is sponsored by Freudenberg West. Speakers Victor Kim of knitwear firm Cherish and Arnold Sude of Design Options will cover demographics and buying behavior within the Asian-American market.
