Gerber Names New PDM Manager
Gerber Technology Inc. has named former Nordstrom Inc. executive Suzanne Auyeung as its new software product manager. Auyeung will be responsible for the company’s WebPDM, 3D and conceptual-design product lines.
Auyeung was a business analyst with Nordstrom, where she managed the Seattle-based retailer’s upgrade implementation and maintenance of Gerber’s productdevelopment solution, WebPDM. She was also an active member of Gerber’s WebPDM Customer Advisory Board during this time.
She previously held the position of WebPDM implementation project manager at Jos J. Pietrafesa Co. as well as a variety of positions in the design departments of Norton McNaughton and Donnkenny Apparel Inc.
“Suzanne has over 15 years of experience with PDM and conceptual design in both retail and manufacturing settings,” said Sabrena McBride, Gerber’s director of software product management. “Her exposure to a variety of environments in the apparel industry, as well as her background in business administration, will prove invaluable in her new position. We look forward to her contributions.”
Auyeung attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she earned an associate’s degree in fashion, buying and merchandising. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in marketing, from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. —Robert McAllister
