Veteran sales rep Jackie Bartolo opened a showroom in The New Mart during the recent June market in Los Angeles.
Bartolo started as a rep in the surfwear industry in 1985. She then moved into the contemporary market—working with large corporations such as Rockpool USA, now called Sanctuary, and C.C. Outlaw, now called Left of Center— where she gained experience dealing with majors and specialty stores. A creative entrepreneur, she also works with set designers to create studio sets and mock clothing stores for television shows through her free-lance set-design business, Strictly Studio.
Kasil, T. L. Blake, Yvette Mandell, With Love hellip; From: Redondo Beach, Staci Schubert and Cio are a few new resources carried in the Jackie B showroom. Bartolo shares the space with Cathy Snyder of Nothing To Wear Inc., which represents Subtle Tones, Subtle Luxury, Loungerie, Glam Souls and Aroma Souls. —N. Jayne Seward
