LATT Students Place In Alpaca Design Contest
Two Los Angeles Trade-Technical College students recently received honors in the first student design competition hosted by the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association. Students Amelia Custodio and Gerardo Reyes placed second and third in the competition and were honored during a student assembly last month on LATT’s Downtown Los Angeles campus.
This is the first design contest sponsored by the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association. Submissions were judged on originality, marketability and each student’s understanding of the benefits and properties of alpaca fibers.
