Los Angeles Fashion Week Fall I 2003: Pacific Coast Travelers
Pacific Coast Travelers took buyers on a tour of the sales group’s latest looks during its runway show, held on April 5 at the California Market Center’s atrium patio. Key trends included Asian prints and design details from Hee Lee, Anu by Natural and Endless Knot Art; floral, abstract and polka-dot prints from Papillon, Indira, Citrine and Satori; and athletic-inspired loungewear by Chaudry, Yemee and Blast. Also strong were suede pieces with appliqueacute;s or laser-cut designs from Joseph Ribkoff and Rene Derhy. Elegant eveningwear from Jessica McClintock, Alberto Makali, Gilar and Double Occupancy Maternity closed the show. —Alison A. Nieder
