Less Global Growth
The World Bank has revised its projection for global growth to 2.3 percent for the first half of 2003. In December, the organization projected 2.5 percent growth, and in July, the organization projected 3.6 percent growth for the first half of 2003. World Bank officials credited the war in Iraq for prompting the revised projection.
