Gen Art Names 2002's Fresh Faces
Gen Art has named the designers to be featured in its Fresh Faces in Fashion show set for Nov. 3 at the Mayan Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
The labels to be featured are Kate O’Connor, Mon Petite Oiseau, Howe, Ya- Ya, Antonio Aguilar, Ashley Paige, Brick and Louis Verdad. Accessories designers Ann Cherico, Baltazar Belts, Flavio Olivera and Madly will also be featured.
This marks the fifth year Gen Art has staged its Fresh Faces show in Los Angeles. The New York-based non-profit arts organization spotlights up-and-coming design talent in fashion, film and art through events held nationwide. Tickets for the Fresh Faces in Fashion show can be purchased at www.genart.org.
In other Gen Art news, fashion show producer Lee Trimble has joined the Los Angeles office as Los Angeles region manager. She will be working with Megan Griffith, the West Coast regional director for the organization.
