Coogi Rights Sold
A joint venture between two as-yet-unnamed U.S.-based clothing companies has bought the worldwide intellectual property rights and trademarks of troubled fashion group Coogi of Australia. Administrator George Georges of the accounting firm Ferrier Hodgson said the two firms have created a new company, Coogi Partners LLC. The Coogi knitwear firm was placed in voluntary administration in July, owing more than $14.02 million.
