Fashion With Flavor
Fashion shows and flavored martinis—that was the formula for the Gen Art/Pucker Fashion Designer Tour 2002 that recently stopped in the Los Angeles area for three nights. The traveling fashion exhibition and beverage-sampling affair (courtesy of Pucker) showed up at Moomba in West Hollywood on May 2, Gotham Hall in Santa Monica on May 3 and El Dorado in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles on May 4.
The fashion display featured portions of collections from Los Angeles-based designers Corey Lynn Calter and Lynn Lugo and New York-based designers Annabelle, Dimitri Joseph, Miche Kimsa and Michie.
The tour started in Miami on April 25, and after its Los Angeles-area engagement, continued through Seattle and ended in Chicago on May 18. —Joselle Yokogawa
