Tukatech Updates Software, Cutters
Los Angeles-based Tukatech Inc. has rolled out its latest version of Tukastudio, the company’s textile and apparel design software. The new upgrade, version 3.50.08, offers improved features including color reduction and cleaning, design and repeat, coloring storyboard and cataloging.
With the updated version, users can export color palettes into sketching and Photoshop modules and edit designs at the storyboard and cataloging stages without having to open and close files. The software also features 60 present stitch types and has faster print-processing speed and improved links to modules.
Tukatech has also released Tukacut 8.0, its latest series of cutters, which provide solutions for low-, medium- and high-ply cutting. It is capable of cutting up to 80 millimeters in compressed height but has the flexibility of cutting single-ply or 200 plies in similar fabric groups, the company said. —Robert McAllister
