Justwin Rolls Out New Web-Based Software
Justwin Technologies Inc., a New York-based supplier of collaborative product commerce (CPC) software for the apparel industry, has launched a new product that brings its existing product development software under one Web-centric model.
Called Justwin WebConnect, the module delivers product data management, supply-chain collaboration and workflow- and event-tracking capabilities into a simpler visual-based format, said the company’s chief technology officer, Milton O’Dell.
“Our primary goal was to complete the connection of our core technology with the Internet while maximizing image-based reference and navigation to provide simple and secure collaboration for our clients,” he said. “Leveraging the latest in Web technology, we have greatly simplified the deployment of our solutions and streamlined the information exchange that partners in a supply chain need to compete in today’s fast-paced global business environment.”
Users can access the service with any Internet browser and can work offline using a central database when the Internet is not available.
Justwin executive vice president Rick Ludolph said the changing aspect of the apparel industry, which has brought more players into the supply chain, demands more sophisticated communication tools.
“Many companies tell us that effective collaboration, both within the company and throughout the supply chain, is quickly becoming a key competitive strategy in today’s marketplace. WebConnect has been developed to help these companies, as part of this strategic business approach, to empower their teams with the accurate and up-to-date information they need to collaborate and win,” he said. —Robert McAllister
