The trade gap got a little wider in May, according to the Commerce Department, which found a $35.9 billion gap between imports and exports of goods and services. The trade gap was $32.5 million in April. Imports rose 5.4 percent to $24.9 billion, while exports rose 2.2 percent to $80.1 billion.
