Australian shoemaker Globe International picked up El Segundo-based skateboard company Kubic Marketing, owner of World Industries, in a $46 million deal. Once the acquisition is finalized, Globe is expected to begin producing shoes and apparel under Kubic’s brand names, which include Blind, Darkstar, Tensor and enjoi.
