VESTEX to Open U.S. Office
Guatemalan apparel trade organization VESTEX will open a U.S. office in New York in order to more aggressively promote apparel production in Guatemala. The Central American country boasts 227 apparel factories, 60 accessories manufacturers and 18 textile mills. VESTEX produces an annual trade show, the Apparel Sourcing Show, in Guatemala City. The next run of the event is set for May 15–17.
