ESC Sets Up Shop in Orange County
Exact Software Company (ESC), based in Chadds Ford, Penn., has opened a West Coast sales and support office in Orange County, Calif., to market its ApparelWorks software suite, which provides inventory management, order processing, EDI and forecasting functions for the apparel and textile industries.
ESC has set up temporary offices in Costa Mesa and plans to find permanent offices around Santa Ana, said Michael Piombino, vice president of sales and marketing.
Piombino said the company has received numerous inquiries from West Coast firms and decided to maintain a more visible presence in the market. The 17-year-old company is coming off a record year.
“Market conditions have simply increased the demand for flexible and robust solutions that are also proven and cost-effective,” said Piombino. “Our business has grown immensely over the past 12 to 18 months worldwide, and the western U.S. region has contributed significantly to that growth. The decision to add resources to focus exclusively on West Coast clients makes sense from both a sales and support perspective.”
