Tukatech Names New VPs
Los Angeles-based Tukatech has named two new vice presidents to oversee sales and service of its CAD/CAM systems on the East Coast. Doug Bombay will oversee Tukatech’s new Northeast territory, covering New York and the entire eastern seaboard, and Steve Fineman will oversee operations in the Southeast from Atlanta.
Both men are former Gerber Technology executives. Fineman is also a former president of Microdynamics. The appointments were made to accommodate demand for Tukatech products in its growing East Coast market.
“We’ve been strong on the West Coast but we’re expanding fast all over,” said Tukatech chief operating officer Peter Tredwin. “We’re kind of running counter to what the rest of the industr y is doing with a 60 percent compounded growth rate over the past five years.”
Tukatech also recently completed a 10,000-square-foot expansion of its Los Angeles headquarters, which will be used for the company’s TukaWeb division. —Robert McAllister
