Unifi, Tunex Reach Distribution Deal
Greensboro, N.C.-based fiber maker Unifi has completed agreements with Thai fiber maker Tunex regarding Tunex’s manufacture and sale of polyester filament yarns.
The deals give Unifi access to Asia and Tunex. Unifi will also work with Tunex to develop its textured-yarn production process. The two companies will work together to expand sales in global markets but will keep separate sales and distribution teams.
