Rande Blatt-Cohen Showroom
California Market CenterSuite B-520(213) 489-3044
Rande Blatt-Cohen’s showroom is more like a boudoir than a workspace, complete with a 19th-century mahogany armoire, closet-like display racks, topped with exotic handbags and velvet-lined baskets overflowing with sexy, silky-soft dressings and intimate apparel.
“I want my visitors to have a warm feeling when they enter my showroom,” said Blatt-Cohen.
With lines including PJ Salvage and Yogi, Blatt-Cohen specializes in young women’s sleepwear and leisurewear. But her 385- square-foot showroom also features handbags by Stella Page ($104 wholesale), Robbie French’s silver belt buckle with jeweled embellishments ($65), and Danielle Stevens’ contemporary jewelry collection made with chunky medallions and semi-precious stones, starting at $40.
Undergarments start at $7.50 wholesale, while Sebu’s patchwork novelty T-shirt collection starts at $19. PJ Salvage’s cotton and thermal sleepwear sets start at $25 wholesale, with a variety of classic motifs to choose from, including Western themes and paisley prints. Yogi, a yoga-inspired activewear collection with Middle Eastern prints and accents, starts at $19. Brightly colored basic tees by contemporary label Sucre and edgy-looking French terry-and-lace camisole and bottoms set by NaNa add an eclectic touch to the showroom’s diverse offerings. The showroom also carries two young contemporary sportswear collections, G Couture and Basics. —Claudia Figueroa
