FGI, Tukatech to Host Tech Seminar
Fashion Group International of Los Angeles is presenting a seminar, “Presentation of New Fast-Track Technology,”at 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM).
Tukatech Inc. executives Ram Sareen and Peter Tredwin will be on hand to explain and discuss opportunities using technology in the fashion industry. Tukatech is a leading CAD/CAM (computer-aided design) company, serving the apparel and textile industries. The company operates its Tuka- Center in Los Angeles’ Fashion District offering CAD rentals and instruction and has launched TukaWeb, which facilitates exchanges of marker-making, grading and pattern- making data and remote plotting.
