Portland, Ore.-based Columbia Sportswear Co. has been named the official apparel sponsor of the Special Olympics Team USA for the 2003 World Summer Games, which are set for June 2003 in Dublin, Ireland. The company will outfit the 1,300 athletes and 350 coaches with Columbia jackets, trail-running shoes, pants, T-shirts, shorts and bags as well as the company’s new Titanium Multi- Sport line of technical apparel designed for outdoor aerobic activity.
