CMC Adds New Urban Showrooms
The California Market Center has added a number of new permanent showrooms on its fourth floor, which was formerly reserved for menswear. The new urban showrooms include a number of junior lines that are stand-alone urban offerings or female versions of successful men’s urban lines.
New showrooms include Urban Apparel Association, which reps Issac Charles, Web and Heavenly Fashions for men as well as Masq for women; That Girl Sales, which reps J.Lo for juniors and Avirex for young men; and the Kremer Group, which reps juniors and men’s Jordache, Calvin Klein, Ecko Red outerwear and Karl Kani.
Existing showrooms adding new lines include Carl Copeland Collections, which reps Dada, Vokal, Pure Playaz and FUBU Ladies, and Ecko, which has added Ecko Red for juniors.
Other new showrooms include Rocawear, Girbaud and South Pole. —Darryl James
