Jared Gold and Alicia Lawhon were among the few West Coast designers who were able to show their lines during New York Fashion Week before it was cancelled in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Gold and Lawhon were the first two of five Los Angeles-based designers scheduled to show in New York for Audi presents Designer Collections Los Angeles, an offsite circuit of runway shows produced by SPR and sponsored by Audi.
