Kellwood Menswear Names Jeffrey Stein VP
New York’s Kellwood Menswear, a division of the St. Louis, Mo.-based Kellwood Company, recently named Jeffrey Stein vice president of sales and merchandising, according to Bob Skinner, president of the division.
“We are pleased to have someone of Jeff’s stature on Kellwood’s menswear team as we enter into a new era of developing and building the men’s business for the company and our retail customers,” said Skinner.
Stein, a 25-year veteran of the menswear industry, began his career with Macy’s East, served 12 years as executive vice president of sales and marketing at Hagale Industries and recently was the chief operating officer of Neokom, a brand identity firm.
Kellwood Company is a multidivisional marketer, merchandiser and manufacturer of consumer soft goods focusing primarily on women’s apparel. The company currently reports menswear at 15 percent of its total sales. Kellwood Menswear is a developer of branded products and proprietary brand programs for major retailers.—Darryl James
