TALA Play Day Moves East
The Textile Association of Los Angeles (TALA) will host its annual Bob Berg Invitational Play Day on May 11 at the Industry Hills Golf Club in City of Industry, Calif. This year’s event will feature a shotgun at the Eisenhower course at Industry Hills starting at 10 a.m. The tennis tournament starts at 11:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to sign up for the day and stay into the evening, when the group will hold a lakeside cocktail party and Southwest barbecue buffet overlooking the golf course.
This is a new venue for the annual golf and tennis event, which has been held in the past at separate golf and tennis venues in Thousand Oaks and Calabasas, Calif.
TALA president Ann Davis said the new venue was a welcome change for the event, which the organization has hosted for the past 57 years.
“It’s time to shake things up a bit,” she said.
