B Curious Expands to New Home
Los Angeles-based B Curious, a clothing and accessory boutique, moved to its new, larger location on Third Street last month to expand its offerings beyond women’s apparel lines such as Mica, Anja Flint and Private Circle. The 1,200-square-foot store now carries an extended menswear collection, shoes, baby clothes by local designer Tiki Baby and others, and housewares including pillows, candles and sake sets. More than 200 clients and area merchants attended the kick-off party held June 22. Owner Cynthia Obsenares, who has targeted San Francisco, Miami and New York for future boutique sites, projects first-year sales at the new location to double those at the former site on Crescent Heights Boulevard. —Nola Sarkisian-Miller
