Paul Frank Industries, maker of accessories and apparel with familiar illustrated characters, including Julius the monkey, will open its third retail store on Third Street in Los Angeles next month; the Newport Beach-based company already has stores in Newport Beach and San Francisco and next plans to open locations in London, Tokyo and Osaka, Japan... Southern California leads the nation in reported cargo theft, according to a recent report in the Los Angeles Business Journal, which found that $600 million in goods were reported stolen from the region’s ports, rail lines and airports.
