The America Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) has formed the AAFA Social Responsibility Committee, a new committee to review production and manufacturing concerns such as factory monitoring, human rights issues and women’s rights issues. The Washington, D.C.-based manufacturers organization recently held its first committee meeting with representatives of apparel and footwear companies.
