Saks to Host Valentine's Day Chanel Show
Saks Fifth Avenue and The Colleages will preview the Spring/Summer 2001 collection by Chanel at their annual Valentine’s Day charity luncheon at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills on Feb. 14.
Actors Annette Bening (“American Beauty”) and Warren Beatty (“Bulworth”) will receive the Champion of Children Award from The Colleagues, the charitable organization that supports Children’s Institute International, the nonprofit organization formerly known as the Big Sisters League. Former First Lady Nancy Reagan will present the award to the show-biz couple during the luncheon. The annual event is underwritten by Saks Fifth Avenue, which operates 62 stores in 23 states. —Louis Chunovic
