Garrett has been named to the board of directors of Newark, Calif.-based Ross Stores Inc.; she is a former senior vice president and the chief information officer of the Walt Disney Co.; Ross currently operates 409 off-price retail stores...Barnett and Marcia Priceman have been named to head up sales for specialty chains and retailers east of the Mississippi for Los Angeles-based Hot Kiss, a manufacturer of junior sportswear, dresses and denim; the duo will be based in Hot Kiss’s New York showroom...Several executives have been promoted to division presidencies at Seattle-based Seattle Pacific Industries, which produces and markets sportswear under the Unionbay, Reunion and Sergio Valente labels; they are Barry Bates, former senior vice president of Unionbay junior and girls’ division, who has been named president of Unionbay junior division; Drew Merklinghaus, former vice president of sales for Unionbay boys’ division, who has been named president of Unionbay boys’ division; Paty Williams, former vice president of sales for Unionbay girls’ division; who has been named president of Unionbay girls’ division, and Peter Leff, former vice president of sales for Reunion, who has been named president of Reunion.
