Fed Lowers Interest Rate Again
The Federal Reserve lowered interest rates again, reducing the federal funds rate, which banks charge each other for overnight loans, a quarter point, to 1.75 percent. This marks the 11th time the Fed has lowered interest rates this year in an effort to counterbalance the soft economy.
