Enron Files for Chapter 11
Energy giant Enron filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection following the collapse of a planned merger with smaller energy firm Dynegy Inc. Enron has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against Dynegy for backing out of the merger.
